一、学校简介 Overview
塔里木大学创建于1958年10月，是新疆生产建设兵团和教育部共建高校。学校现有92个本科专业，1个一级学科博士学位授权点，10个一级学科硕士学位授权点、13个专业学位硕士授权点。现有国家一流本科专业建设点6个、省级一流本科专业建设点21个。4个自治区重点学科，9个兵团重点建设学科。学校占地面积3872亩，校舍建筑面积103.32万平方米，分校本部和东扩区两个校区。现有教职工1500余人，在校学生3万余人。学校高度重视与国内外高校及科研机构之间的交流，与美国、澳大利亚、新西兰、哈萨克斯坦、俄罗斯、巴基斯坦等11个国家和地区的67所院校建立了合作交流关系。
Tarim University, founded in October 1958, is a comprehensive university jointly constructed by Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps and the Ministry of Education. It currently offers 1 doctoral program, 10 academic masters’ programs, 13 professional masters’ programs and 92 undergraduate programs, including 6 national-level and 21 provincial-level first-class undergraduate programs. Additionally, there are 4 key disciplines at the autonomous regional level and 9 key disciplines at the corps level. The two campuses, the main campus and the east campus, span an area of 2,581,333 square meters and encompass a building area of 1,033,200 square meters. Currently, the university boasts a faculty of over 1500 members and an enrollment of more than 30,000 students. Tarim University has been placing great emphasis on fostering collaborations with both domestic and international universities as well as research institutions. It has successively established cooperative and exchange partnerships with 67 education and research institutions from 11 countries and regions, including the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Kazakhstan, Russia and Pakistan, etc.
二、招生类别 Programs
秋季招收自费生Self-funded Programs和奖学金项目Scholarship Programs，其中：塔里木大学来华留学奖学金和“新疆生产建设兵团来华留学奖学金”资助标准：学费、住宿费和医疗保险全免，提供生活费，具体资助标准根据审查和面试等情况，综合考虑、择优资助，具体以学校发放录取通知书为准。
For autumn admission to self-funded and scholarship programs, funding will cover full tuition fees, accommodation expenses, and medical insurance, while also providing living expenses based on the funding criteria for international students set by Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps and Tarim University. The specific funding standards will be determined through a review and interview process and will be awarded on a competitive basis, with the specific details specified in the admission letter.

四、申请资格 Application Prerequisites
1.非中国籍公民，持有效国外护照，对华友好，无犯罪记录，且符合教育部《教育部关于规范我高等学校接受国际学生有关工作的通知》（教外函〔2020〕12号）文件要求。
For autumn admission to self-funded and scholarship programs, funding will cover full tuition fees, accommodation expenses, and medical insurance, while also providing living expenses based on the funding criteria for international students set by Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps and Tarim University. The specific funding standards will be determined through a review and interview process and will be awarded on a competitive basis, with the specific details specified in the admission letter.

2.申请人的学历与年龄要求Degree and age
本科生须具有高中或高中以上学历，年龄不超过25岁；硕士研究生须具有本科及以上学历，年龄不超过35岁；博士研究生须具有硕士及以上学历，年龄不超过45岁。
Undergraduate programs: Senior high school graduates under 25.
Graduate programs: Bachelor’s degree holders under 35.
Doctoral programs: Master’s degree holders under 45.
3.中文类本科专业及一年制研修项目优先录取HSK成绩4级以上学生，中文授课研究生专业优先录取HSK5级以上学生。
Undergraduate programs in Chinese language and one-year study programs give preference to applicants with HSK Level 4 or above, while graduate programs taught in Chinese language prefer applicants with HSK Level 5 or above.
4.申请人品行良好、身体健康，自愿接受中国有关国际学生的管理规定，遵守中华人民共和国法律、法规及塔里木大学校纪校规。
The applicants must possess a strong moral character, good physical health, and demonstrate willingness to comply with the management regulations for international students in China. They are also expected to adhere to the laws, regulations of the People's Republic of China and the school rules Tarim University.
五、申请材料 Application Documents
（1）《塔里木大学外国留学生申请表》（中文或英文填写）；

（2）个人简历;
Resume
（3）护照首页。申请人须提交本人普通护照的首页清晰扫描件，如现持有护照不符合要求，请及时换发新护照；
The first page of passport. Applicants are required to provide a legible scan of the first page of their passport. If the current passport does not meet the requirements, please renew the passport in time.
（4）经过公证的最高学历证明。如申请人为在校学生，须提交本人就读学校出具的预计毕业证明或在学证明。中英文以外文本须附经公证的中文或英文的译文；
A notarized document certifying the highest level of education achieved. Applicants currently enrolled in an educational institution are required to provide a certificate of anticipated graduation or a certificate of enrollment issued by their respective institution. Documents in languages other than Chinese and English must be accompanied by an official translation certified in either Chinese or English.
（5）学习成绩单（自本科阶段起）。成绩单扫描件应包括本科、硕士（如有）、博士（如有）学习阶段，直至最近一学期的成绩。成绩单应由就读学校教务处、研究生院或有关学生管理部门开具并盖章。可提供中/英文成绩单，如为英语以外语种，需另提供英文翻译件并公证；
Academic transcripts (from undergraduate level onwards). The transcripts should encompass applicants’ academic performance at the undergraduate, graduate (if applicable), and doctoral (if applicable) levels up to the most recent semester. The transcripts should be issued by the Registrar's Office, Graduate School, or the relevant student management department of the school attended. Applicants are required to provide original or notarized copies of the academic transcripts in either Chinese or English. If the transcripts are in a language other than English, a notarized English translation should be provided.
（6）来华留学学习计划。内容应包括个人申请基本信息、个人陈述、已有研究成果、研究目标及学习具体计划（1000字以上）、毕业后计划，内容只可用中文或英文书写；
A study plan for pursuing education in China. The plan should include personal application details, a personal statement, existing research accomplishments, research objectives, and specific study plans (exceeding 1,000 words), as well as post-graduation plans. The plan must be written in either Chinese or English.
（7）推荐信。提交两名教授或副教授的推荐信，内容应重点包含对申请人来华学习目标要求、学生个人品质情况以及对学生综合能力、未来发展的评价，只可用中文或英文书写(请附上个人签名及联系信息)；
Recommendation Letters. Two letters of recommendation (either in Chinese or English) from professors or associate professors should be provided, focusing on the applicant's academic objectives in China, personal attributes, and an assessment of their overall capabilities and future potential. (Signature and contact information of the recommender should be included).
（8）语言能力证明。申请中文授课项目需提交HSK5级及以上（含HSK5级）成绩报告，申请英文授课项目需提交雅思或托福成绩单或者前置学位为全英文授课的相关证明，优先考虑有HSK语言能力证明的申请者；
Language proficiency certificates. Applicants for Chinese-taught programs are required to submit a score report of HSK Level 5 or above, while applicants for English-taught programs must provide an IELTS or TOEFL score report or relevant proof of previous degree being taught in English. Preference will be given to applicants who hold an HSK certificate.
（9）《外国人体格检查表》复印件（原件自行保存，此表格由中国卫生检疫部门统一印制，须英文填写）。申请人应严格按照《外国人体格检查表》中要求的项目进行检查。缺项、未贴有本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师和医院签字盖章的《外国人体格检查表》无效，检查结果有效期为6个月；
A photocopy of the Physical Examination Form for Foreigners (The original form should be properly kept, and the form is issued by the Chinese Health Quarantine Department and must be filled out in English). Applicants must undergo medical examinations strictly in accordance with the requirements specified on the Physical Examination Form for Foreigners. Forms lacking the necessary items, such as a photo of the applicant, a seal on the photo, or a signature and seal from the doctor and the hospital, will be considered invalid. The check-up results are valid for a period of 6 months.
（10）无犯罪记录证明。申请人须提交由所在地公安机关出具的有效期内的无犯罪记录证明，通常应为提交申请之日前6个月以内的证明文件；
A certificate of Non-Criminal Record. Applicants are required to provide a valid certificate of non-criminal record issued by the local public security authorities, which should generally be dated within 6 months prior to the date of application submission.
（11）在华应届毕业学生须提交在华居留许可页及当前所在学校开具的在校表现证明；
Students graduating in China in current year are required to provide a copy of their residence permit in China and an academic performance certificate issued by their current school.
（12）发表论文、获奖证明、工作或实习证明等其他材料（如有）。
Academic papers, award certificates, work or internship certifications, and any other relevant documentation could be provided (if applicable).
（13）申请人电子版证件照片（2寸，蓝底）。
A digital copy of the applicant's ID photo (2 inches, blue background).
（14）未满18岁的申请者，须提交在华监护人署名的委托证明文件。
Applicants under the age of 18 must provide a signed authorization document from their legal guardian in China.
六、选拔方式、录取和通知 Selection Methods, Admission, and Notification
1.申请人于8月31日前登陆塔里木大学国际学生服务平台（https://taru.at0086.cn/student），注册个人账户，并按要求提交相关报名材料;
Applicants are required to access the International Student Service Platform of Tarim University (https://taru.at0086.cn/student) and register a personal account before August 31st, and then submit the required application materials according to the instructions.
2.招生办公室于8月31日-9月10日左右会同相关学院、部门及专家教师对申请人所提交材料进行审核及面试。审核及面试均通过的申请人将进入我校拟录取名单；
The Admissions Office, in collaboration with relevant colleges, departments, and faculty members, will conduct a comprehensive assessment of applicants' submitted materials and organize interviews for applicants from August 31st to September 10th. Candidates who pass the evaluation process and interview will be included in the preliminary admission list of Tarim University.
3.招生办公室将会以邮件形式通知拟录取学生，拟录取学生需在规定时间内预交报名费（700元），学生如未能在规定时间内预交报名费，将被取消预录取资格；
The Admissions Office will notify the prospective admitted students via email and they are expected to submit the application fee (700 RMB) within the specified time. Students who fail to submit the application fee within the specified time will be disqualified.
4.我校确认收到预交报名费后，向正式录取的学生发出《录取通知书》等录取材料。
Upon receipt of the prepaid application fee, the Admission Office will issue the Admission Notice and other admission materials to officially admitted students.
