塔里木大学2025年国际学生招生手册 Enrollment Brochure for International Students to Tarim University 2025

一、学校简介 Overview

塔里木大学创建于1958年10月，是新疆生产建设兵团和教育部共建高校。学校是一所以农科为优势，以生命科学为特色，农、理、工、医、文、管、经、法、教育、艺术、历史等多学科协调发展的综合性大学。学校占地面积3898亩，校舍建筑面积126.02万平方米，包括校本部和新校区（东扩区）两个校区。

学校现有在校学生3.1万余人，教职工1700余人，21个学院，91个本科专业。国家一流本科专业建设点6个、省级（兵团级）一流本科专业建设点21个。有4个自治区重点学科，9个兵团重点建设学科。有3个一级学科博士学位授权点、11个一级学科硕士学位授权点、21个专业学位类别硕士学位授权点。

学校坚持开放办学，积极响应国家“一带一路”倡议，高度重视与国内外高校及科研机构之间的合作交流，与美国、澳大利亚、新西兰、哈萨克斯坦、俄罗斯、巴基斯坦等11个国家和地区的67所院校建立了合作交流关系。2024年，学校成功招收了来自巴基斯坦、哈萨克斯坦等国家的硕博士国际学生，开辟了学校来华留学生教育新篇章。

Tarim University, founded in October 1958, is a comprehensive university jointly constructed by Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps and the Ministry of Education. The university is a comprehensive institution with advantages in agricultural sciences and a focus on life sciences. It features coordinated development across multiple disciplines, including agriculture, science, engineering, medicine, liberal arts, management, economics, law, education, arts, and history. The university covers an area of 3,898 mu, with a building area of 1.2602 million square meters. It consists of the main campus and the new campus (eastern expansion area).

Currently, the university has more than 31,000 students and over 1,700 faculty members. It has 21 colleges and 91 undergraduate programs. It boasts 6 national-level and 21 provincial-level first-class undergraduate majors. Additionally, there are 4 key disciplines at the autonomous regional level and 9 key disciplines at the Production and Construction Corps level. It currently offers 3 doctoral programs, 11 academic masters’ programs, 21 professional masters’ programs. Tarim University adheres to an open approach to education.

Actively responding to the national Belt and Road Initiative, it has been placing great emphasis on the cooperation and exchanges with both domestic and international universities as well as research institutions. It has successively established cooperative and exchange partnerships with 67 educational and research institutions from 11 countries and regions, including the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Pakistan, etc. In 2024, the university successfully enrolled master and doctoral international students from countries such as Pakistan, Kazakhstan, opening a new chapter in its international student education program in China.

二、奖学金项目 Scholarship Programs

国际学生可以申请“新疆生产建设兵团来华留学奖学金”。被录取者，学校将免除其学费、住宿费，支付医疗保险费，并提供生活费。

International students can apply for the "Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Scholarship for International Students". Funding will cover full tuition fees, accommodation expenses, and medical insurance, while also providing living expenses.

四、申请资格 Application Eligibility

1.非中国籍公民，持有效国外护照，对华友好，无犯罪记录，且符合《教育部关于规范我高等学校接受国际学生有关工作的通知》（教外函〔2020〕12号）文件要求。

Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens holding a valid foreign passport, demonstrating goodwill towards China, possessing no criminal record, and fulfilling the criteria outlined in The Ministry of Education's Announcement on Standardizing the Admission of International Students by Chinese Universities (No.12, 2020).

2.申请人的学历与年龄要求Educational Background and Age Requirements for Applicants

硕士研究生须具有本科及以上学历，年龄不超过35岁；博士研究生须具有硕士及以上学历，年龄不超过45岁。

Master's degree applicants should hold a bachelor's degree or above and be under 35 years old. Doctoral degree applicants should possess a master's degree or above and be less than 45 years old.

3.申请人品行良好、身心健康，自愿接受中国有关国际学生的管理规定，遵守中华人民共和国法律、法规及塔里木大学校纪校规。

The applicants must possess a strong moral character, good physical and mental health, and demonstrate willingness to comply with the management regulations for international students in China. They are also expected to adhere to the laws, regulations of the People's Republic of China and university rules of Tarim University.

五、申请材料 Application Documents

1.塔里木大学国际学生入学申请表。申请人用中文或英文填写后手写签字，提交扫描件。

Application Form for International Students at Tarim University.Applicants should fill the form in either Chinese or English and submit scanned copy of the form with hand- written signature.

2.个人简历

Resume

3.护照首页。申请人须提交本人普通护照的首页清晰扫描件，如现持有护照不符合要求，请及时换发新护照。

The First Page of Passport. Applicants are required to provide a legible scan of the first page of their passport. If the current passport does not meet the requirements, please renew the passport in time.

4.经过公证的最高学历证明。如申请人为在校学生，须提交本人就读学校出具的预毕业证明和在学证明。中英文以外文本须附经公证的中文或英文的译文。

A Notarized Document Certifying the Highest Academic Level. Applicants currently enrolled in an educational institution are required to provide a certificate of anticipated graduation and a certificate of enrollment issued by their respective institution. Documents in languages other than Chinese and English must be accompanied by an official translation certified in either Chinese or English.

5.学习成绩单（自本科阶段起）。成绩单扫描件应包括本科、硕士（如有）、博士（如有）学习阶段，直至最近一学期的成绩。成绩单应由就读学校教务处、研究生院或有关学生管理部门开具并盖章。可提供中/英文成绩单，如为英语以外语种，需另提供英文翻译件并公证。

Academic Transcripts (starting from undergraduate level onwards). The scanned transcripts should encompass applicants' academic performance at the undergraduate, graduate (if applicable), and doctoral (if applicable) levels up to the most recent semester. The transcripts should be issued and stamped by the Registrar's Office, Graduate School, or the relevant student management department of the school attended. Applicants are required to provide original or notarized copies of the academic transcripts in either Chinese or English. If the transcripts are in a language other than English, a notarized English translation should be provided.

6.来华留学学习计划。内容应包括个人申请基本信息、个人陈述、已有研究成果、研究目标及学习具体计划（1000字以上）、毕业后计划，内容只可用中文或英文书写。

A Study Plan for Pursuing Education in China. The plan should include basic personal application details, a personal statement, existing research accomplishments, research objectives, and specific study plans (exceeding 1,000 words), as well as post-graduation plans. The plan must be written in either Chinese or English.

7.推荐信。提交两名教授或副教授的推荐信，内容应重点包含对申请人来华学习目标要求、学生个人品质情况以及对学生综合能力、未来发展的评价，只可用中文或英文书写(请附上个人签名及联系信息)。

Recommendation Letters. Two letters of recommendation (either in Chinese or English) from professors or associate professors should be provided, focusing on the applicant's academic objectives in China, personal attributes, and an assessment of their overall capabilities and future potential. (Please attach your personal signature and contact information).

8.语言能力证明。申请英文授课项目需提交雅思或托福成绩单或者前置学位为全英文授课的相关证明，优先考虑有HSK语言能力证明的申请者。

Language Proficiency Certificates. Applicants for English-taught programs must provide an IELTS or TOEFL score report or relevant proof of previous degree being taught in English. Preference will be given to applicants who hold an HSK certificate.

9.《外国人体格检查表》复印件（原件自行保存，此表格由中国卫生检疫部门统一印制，须英文填写）。申请人应严格按照《外国人体格检查表》中要求的项目进行检查。缺项、未贴有本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师和医院签字盖章的《外国人体格检查表》无效，应提交报名截止日前6个月以内的证明文件。

A Photocopy of the Physical Examination Form for Foreigners (The original form should be properly kept, and the form is issued by the Chinese Health Quarantine Department and must be filled out in English). Applicants must undergo medical examinations strictly in accordance with the requirements specified on the Physical Examination Form for Foreigners. Forms lacking the necessary items, such as a photo of the applicant, a seal on the photo, or a signature and seal from the doctor and the hospital, will be considered invalid. The check-up results should be dated within 6 months prior to the application deadline.

10.无犯罪记录证明。申请人须提交由所在地公安机关出具的有效期内的无犯罪记录证明，应提交报名截止日前6个月以内的证明文件。

A certificate of Non-Criminal Record. Applicants are required to provide a valid certificate of non-criminal record issued by the local public security authorities, which should be dated within 6 months prior to the application deadline.

11.在华应届毕业学生须提交在华居留许可页及当前所在学校开具的在校表现证明。

Students graduating in China in current year are required to provide a copy of their residence permit in China and an academic performance certificate issued by their current school.

12.申请人电子版证件照片（2寸，蓝底）。

A digital copy of the applicant's ID photo (2 inches, with a blue background).

13.2-3分钟的自我介绍视频（中/英文）。

A 2-3 minute self-introduction video (Chinese/English).

14.科研成果复印件，如发表的论文等（封面、目录、正文、封底）(如有）。

Copies of Academic achievements, such as published papers (including cover, table of contents, main text, and back cover).

15.获奖证明、工作或实习证明等其他材料(如有）。

Award certificates, work or internship certifications, and any other relevant documentation could be provided (if applicable).

六、选拔方式、录取和通知 Selection Methods, Admission, and Notification

1.申请人于2025年5月16日前登陆塔里木大学国际学生服务平台（https://taru.at0086.cn/student），注册个人账户，并按要求提交相关报名材料;

Applicants are required to access the International Student Service Platform of Tarim University (https://taru.at0086.cn/student) and register a personal account before May 16th and submit the required application materials according to the instructions.

2.学校于5月17日-6月20日会同相关学院、部门及专家教师对申请人所提交材料进行审核及面试。审核及面试均通过的申请人将进入我校拟录取名单；

The Admissions Office, in collaboration with relevant colleges, departments, and faculty members, will conduct a comprehensive assessment of applicants' submitted materials and organize interviews for applicants from May 17th to June 20th. Candidates who pass the evaluation process and interview will be included in the preliminary admission list of Tarim University.
